BADGES - TRADES

The Bandsman Badge may be worn by a Cadet who has qualified to play an instrument in a band.

May be worn by a Cadet who has completed at least one year in the Corps and who has passed all the required boatswain examinations successfully.

This badge may be worn by any cadet that has completed the Communications portion of the training program. Unlike the semaphore badge, this badge represents a higher level and understand in communications, including morse code, semaphore, signal flags and possibly radio operations.

May be worn by a cadet appointed as a Corps Gunner (in charge of drill team)

May be worn by one PO2 or above, who is selected by the Corps C.O. to carry out the duties of Regulator, i.e. assistant to the "Chief", administration, etc. This badge is senior to all other trade badges.
